If you want the really, really, good stuff, then go to the City of Loreto. Just ask the taxi to take you to "Parroquia Misión de Loreto," its a mission/church in the middle of everything and its a good place to get dropped off at. From there, you can go in any direction to find good authentic Mexican food.

The prices in the City of Loreto are very reasonable. Don't be afraid to go cruise around and try something new. The city is safe and filled with wonderful people.
