Loreto Seasonal Weather
In the winter, the weather of Loreto is similar to Palm Spring's winter or like San Diego's weather during the Summer. Winter low temperatures in Loreto will range from the 50s and 60s, while the highs will be anywhere from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Winter is also the start of wind for Loreto. Northerly winds will blow about half the time. This can cause the seas to become choppy and of course cooler weather.
Loreto in the springtime is quite pleasant. Daytime temperatures are warm, but not too hot, with night time temperatures cooling down comfortably. Northerly winds will lessen, and Loreto will start to see more winds from the West. Once the northerly winds stop, the weather will warm up and the seas will become calm. The water temperature will be in the 80s by the end of June.
In the summer, the weather in Nopolo/Loreto Bay is much like the summer weather in the Florida (although even hotter!). Except here in Nopolo / Loreto Bay you have a beautiful sea to dive into. Low temps can be in the 70s and 80s, while highs can be around the 90s and even in the 100s. The summer weather does bring in higher humidity to Loreto and you may also receive an occasional rain shower. The humidity is a challenge if you are not in the water! Hurricanes are rare.
The fall in Loreto starts off pretty warm. The Sea of Cortez has been heated up all summer long, so the sea can still influence the weather. By November, the weather can start changing and become cooler. Sometimes this happens in early November, while other years it might stay warm until December. Winds will start to come from the North more often.
