DIRECTIONS AND MAP TO CROSS BORDER FROM MEXICALI (WEST) TO CALEXICO

Puerto Escondido is a spectacular natural harbor. Located about 15 to 20 minutes south of the Loreto Bay.  For hundreds of years, many ships have been seeking safe harbor in Puerto Escondido. Puerto Escondido means "Hidden Port" in English.

Today, sailboats big and small will stop by Puerto Escondido. There are usually several huge yachts that have slips at the marina. The marina is owned and operated by "Marina Puerto Escondido."

Marina Puerto Escondido offers slips, boat launch ramp, a market, Las Brisas restaurant, El Zopilote Brewing Company, showers, laundry, pool, fuel and rentals.

Marina Puerto Escondido can set you up with some fun excursions as well. They have sailboat rentals, fishing, kayaks, snorkeling tours, paddle boards, motor sports, scuba and much more.

There is a small community called "Tripui" between highway 1 and Marina Puerto Escondido. In Tripui, there is a 20 room hotel and a trailer/RV park.
